Rain showers in sight and hotter afternoons – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The First Alert Weather Team is monitoring the potential for showers inland Monday afternoon and some rain Wednesday into Friday.

Here’s what we can expect, according to First Alert meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh:

  • Tracking a dry morning with temperatures between 15 and 21 degrees
  • A few isolated inland showers will develop along and west of US 301 this afternoon.
  • Maximum temperatures reach 30 to 35 degrees inland and 27 to 35 degrees on the beaches.
  • Moderate risk of rip currents on local beaches
  • Temperatures will rise again to over 35 degrees in the middle of the week
  • There is some chance of rain/storms for Jacksonville, especially Wednesday and Friday.
