APS will not have summer school or programs Monday due to city water issues – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Atlanta Public Schools will not offer summer programs Monday as the city works to resolve its water main burst issues.

This comes as the city has been hit with several water main breaks and a boil water advisory since Friday.

The district says it will meet in person again once boil water notices are lifted and the Georgia Division of Environmental Protection gives the appropriate authorization.

In the meantime, the municipality asks families to remain patient.

All non-essential employees will work remotely on Monday.
