Police investigate nighttime murder case

LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – Jackson police are investigating a homicide that occurred late Sunday night.

Police officers cordoned off the 400 block of Griswold St., which is near 2nd St. in Jackson’s Falling Waters neighborhood.

According to Jackson Police, the incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m., and investigators confirmed to 6 News that one person died.

6 News was on site and so far we do not know the name, age or other details of the victim.
