Body discovered in San José is being investigated as a murder case

A victim was found on the side of the road near 17th and East Santa Clara Street. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A person was found on the side of the road in San Jose on Sunday and police are investigating the death as a homicide.

San Jose Police were called to the area between 17th and East Santa Clara Streets for a report of a person lying on the ground. When officers arrived, they attempted to save the victim’s life, but medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased.

The SJPD is now investigating the death as a homicide. So far, no suspect or description has been released.
