Grover Beach police request public assistance after responding to ‘heard gunshots’

Grover Beach police responded Saturday evening to reports of “gunshots heard.”

According to police, the incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. in the area of ​​South 16th Street Park.

When police arrived, they said they did not find anyone, but they did find bullet casings in the area.

Police believe no one was injured in this incident and the “shots heard” remain under investigation.

Grover Beach Police are asking anyone in the community who may have heard or seen anything to come forward.
