Susan Sarandon denies Hamas raped Israelis

Susan Sarandon is not deterred from her pro-Palestinian stance by the cancellation.

The Oscar winner lost her representation at the end of last year after she made this insensitive comparison at a pro-Palestinian rally

“Many people are afraid. They are afraid to be Jewish at this time. And they are getting a taste of what it feels like to be Muslim in this country.”

According to the New York Post, she also joined the crowd in shouting, “Long live the Intifada” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” Both comments are full of violent, anti-Semitic phrases.

She quickly apologized.

She was recently confronted by a pro-Israel activist about her harsh views, an exchange that received little media attention at the time.

It should have.

Social media user Keren Picker accompanied Sarandon at another pro-Palestinian protest in late April. Picker asked the star about her stance on the war between Israel and Hamas, which included mountains of evidence that Hamas has done more than slaughter hundreds of women.

They were sexually abused by the terrorist group in the most barbaric manner.

Sarandon called these attacks mere “myths.”

“We know all these myths about babies in ovens and the rapes,” Sarandon said in response to Picker’s questioning.

“This is not a myth. You are in denial, you are in denial about the terrorist attacks of October 7 against so many innocent civilians,” Picker replied. She shared the exchange on Instagram.

Sarandon, 77, might want to see “October 7,” a new theater production by Phelim McAleer. Set in New York, the play recalls the horrors of that day, including the sexual assaults carried out by Hamas on its victims.

It would be even better if she showed “Screams Before Silence”. In the documentary, which is available free of charge in several languages on YouTube, survivors of October 7 report in detail about the systematic sexual abuse that was committed against them.

The latter was simply ignored by many media platforms and film critics.

Sarandon too.

The “Annie Durham” star recently posted a message on Instagram claiming that Israel’s ongoing war against Hamas amounts to “genocide.”

Right or wrong, Sarandon took a professional hit for her earlier comments. Her more recent musings never received full media attention.

For more background, here’s another look at Sarandon’s role in the pro-Palestinian protests in New York City.

Sarandon is not the only famous figure to deny the reality of Hamas brutality against women.

Comedian Bassem Youssef also claimed a few months ago that Hamas’s sexual crimes never took place.
