GRPD: 15-year-old dead after shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (WOOD) – A teenager was found dead Sunday night after a shooting in Grand Rapids, police said.

According to Grand Rapids police, officers responded to a call about a shooting on Umatilla Street near Madison Avenue around 8:10 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy who was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unclear what led to the shooting and whether police have any suspects.
