Accused child rapist’s PA confession perfectly matches victim’s account: PD

The investigation into Madison Bair, 30, for New Holland’s alleged abuse of a girl began after local police received a tip from a mandatory reporter through Child Line in October 2023, as explained in the news release.

The victim, now a woman, told police about the alleged assault by Bair in 2006 when she was a child, the release said.

During an interview with police, Bair admitted to “remembering the incident described by the victim,” the police statement said.

Officer Heather Halstead charged Bair with one misdemeanor count of indecent assault and one felony count of aggravated indecent assault on a child

Following his preliminary arraignment before District Judge Jonathan W. Heisse at 2 p.m. April 29, he was released on $100,000 unsecured bail with the condition of no contact with the victim or any minor children, police detailed Court documents confirmed.

According to his court documents, his preliminary ruling is scheduled to be heard before Judge Heisse on May 28 at 2 p.m.
