Weather of the first warning:

  • Dry weather until Monday noon
  • Isolated thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening
  • Isolated hailstones and destructive winds are possible during the storms on Monday

Monday: Scattered thunderstorms are expected Monday afternoon and evening, and there is a risk of a few stronger storms. While the risk is fairly low, some storms may produce isolated wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to 1 inch in diameter.

What’s next: Our active pattern will remain through Wednesday, during which time warm and humid air will prevail over us. In addition to the chance of rain and storms on Monday, watch for possible storms Tuesday into Wednesday. Heavy rain may fall at times, especially Monday night into Tuesday morning. Despite this chance of storms, there will be plenty of dry time during the day. After the cold front on Wednesday, temperatures and humidity will slowly decrease.
