Man found dead in car on Las Vegas Freeway

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was found dead in a vehicle on a freeway in the central Las Vegas Valley early Sunday morning, according to Metro Police.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol responded to a report of an accident near the I-15 HOV exit to US 95 North. The arriving trooper found a man in a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene of the accident, police said.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Homicide Unit has been notified and has taken over the investigation.
