2-year-old German Shepherd killed in hit-and-run

NORTH HAVEN, Connecticut (WFSB) – Police are searching for the driver of a truck that struck and killed a 2-year-old German Shepherd.

According to North Haven police, the dog was hit around 7:40 a.m. in the area of 1650 Hartford Turnpike.

Police believe the driver was traveling north on the Hartford Turnpike in a white Ford pickup or SUV.

According to police, the truck or SUV has front-end damage.
