One man dead after shooting on Pope Street, suspect still at large, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead.

At around 11 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting on Pope Street near Crump Avenue.

When police arrived, they found that a man had been shot.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to MPD, the victim and the suspects knew each other.
