Breaking down the greatest undrafted Buffalo Bills players of all time

1. C – Kent Hull

Kent Hull came to the Buffalo Bills in 1986 and, like quarterback Jim Kelly, joined the team after playing in the USFL. Hull played with the New Jersey Generals for three years. He played a key role in helping Herschel Walker rush for 2,411 yards in 1985 before the league collapsed. Hull was immediately plugged into the Bills’ starting offensive line, aligning with another 1986 NFL rookie, Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.

Hull was a two-time first-team All-Pro, two-time second-team All-Pro and earned four Pro Bowl nominations. He is one of five offensive linemen on the Bills Wall of Fame; however, has yet to be elected to the NFL Hall of Fame. There should be no doubt about his place; I hope the voters will one day induct him into the hall. Hull died on October 11, 2011.
