Arrest in connection with firearm incident in Chambersburg

On May 22, 2024, Jacob Serrano-Faria, a 20-year-old man, was arrested by Chambersburg Police following an incident at the Sheetz store located at 875 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA. Authorities responded to a call regarding a threat with a firearm.

The investigation revealed that Serrano-Faria displayed a handgun and threatened a victim. He was charged with carrying a firearm without a permit (felony 3), terroristic threats (misdemeanor 1), and simple assault (misdemeanor 2).
