Roads temporarily closed due to accident in the afternoon

JONESBORO, Arkansas (KAIT) – Emergency crews are responding to a crash that left two vehicles trapped and caused road closures.

According to an E-911 dispatcher, the accident occurred at 11:37 a.m. at the corner of Main and Matthews Streets.

The accident involving two vehicles resulted in one person being trapped, but no information is available about possible injuries.

Police have temporarily closed the roads and advise people to avoid the area.
