Woman killed in shooting in Milliken, Colorado

The shooting happened at a home on Farmland Lane in Milliken, east of Johnstown.

MILLIKEN, Colo. — A woman was shot and killed at a home in Weld County on Tuesday, Milliken police said.

According to police, the shooting occurred at a home on Farmland Lane in Milliken, east of Johnstown. The victim was found dead inside the home, police said. Her name has not yet been released.

Police said the suspect was later found dead in Laramie, Wyoming. Police said it appears he died by suicide and they are investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide due to domestic violence.

There is no danger to the surrounding community, the police said.
