Spoiler alert for season 14 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”!

So much for tradition.

With ratings for The Real Housewives of New Jersey declining and questions about whether The Real Housewives of New Jersey will even be canceled after the next season, there is now an important update on the franchise.

And it is also a significant change.

According to a Bravo insider, there will be NO reunion in Season 14 to wrap up this year’s feuds, arcs, and storylines.

Such a decision marks the first time that this series will end without such a special.

A source told Page Six that this was due to the “divisive state of the show,” while People Magazine quoted someone as saying of the surprising move:

“A reunion is supposed to bring a solution, and in the season finale it is clear that there is no way forward in such an environment. Therefore, the broadcaster is thinking of a different concept to conclude the season.”

How mysterious, isn’t it?

Season 14 features veteran cast members Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, as well as Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda and Jennifer Fessler.

After four episodes, things actually seem to be more difficult than ever, well… for everyone.

This is nothing new, of course, considering The Real Housewives of New Jersey has had split panels at BravoCon for the past two years.

At this point, sisters-in-law Teresa and Melissa don’t even interact with each other, although according to a recent trailer for the finale, it seems like this will change at some point.

Margaret also has trouble getting along with Teresa after she claimed at the season 13 reunion that the mother of four’s husband, Luis Ruelas, called her son at his workplace and threatened him.

We can’t say for sure how these feuds will play out in the coming episodes, but you can expect an exciting dinner with the entire cast in the final episode of season 14.

“It makes sense,” teases the Page Six insider.

“And once viewers have seen the finale, the decision to forgo the traditional reunion will make even more sense.”

To be clear: So far, no one from Bravo has commented on this strong rumor about a reunion.

The only previous time a Real Housewives reunion was canceled was in season 13 of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Thereafter?

The producers fired the entire cast and brought in new women for season 13.

“Anything and everything is possible,” an insider told People about a possible similar move for that franchise, noting that “all options are being discussed and nothing official has been decided about the show yet.”
