2 men killed in house in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) – An investigation is ongoing after two men were found dead in a home in north Phoenix late Saturday night.

At around 11 p.m., Phoenix police officers were called to a home near 47th Street and Monte Cristo Avenue, near Tatum Boulevard and Greenway Road, after a woman reported her boyfriend had been shot. When officers arrived, they found two men inside the home with gunshot wounds.

Both men were later pronounced dead. According to Phoenix police, one of the men had inflicted the injuries on himself.

Detectives are currently on the scene to determine what led to the fatal shooting. A heavy police presence was seen Sunday morning, as part of the neighborhood was cordoned off with police tape.

Further information is expected to be released later on Sunday.
