Fans criticize Chennedy Carter for unfair treatment of Caitlin Clark

Fans criticized Chennedy Carter on social media on Saturday for the way she bullied Caitlin Clark.

Clark and Carter fought during the Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky WNBA game on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Carter got physical with Clark over the course of several possessions and the two appeared to be swearing at each other. Then, late in the third quarter, Carter knocked Clark down with a hip check.

Carter was cautioned for an off-court foul, but that was all. The Fever won the game 71-70, their second win of the season.

Carter’s play will not dispel the impression that many WNBA players have their eyes on the popular Clark, who is a rookie in the league.
