Alarms sound in Nahariya and Akko about enemy aircraft incursions

On Sunday, alarms sounded in various locations in northern Israel, including Nahariya and Akko, warning of enemy aircraft incursions.

According to the Fire and Rescue Authority, several fires broke out in the Galilee region as a result of strikes.

Later, rockets were fired towards northern Israel at several communities in the Upper Galilee, including Kiryat Shmona. According to the Hezbollah-affiliated organization al-Mayadeen, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to al-Mayadeen, Hezbollah targeted the headquarters of the 210th Golani Brigade in the Golan Heights with two consecutive salvos of dozens of Katyusha rockets.

“Fire teams from the Galilee-Golan Heights station are working on several fires destroyed by impacts from the last barrage. Additional teams are on their way to the scene,” the Fire and Rescue Authority said in a statement.

This is an evolving story.
