Suspect arrested in early morning shooting in Brockton – Boston News, Weather, Sports

A 27-year-old man is facing charges following a shooting early Sunday morning in Brockton, officials said.

When police responded to a reported shooting on Falconer Avenue around 1:45 a.m., they found a Fall River woman with a gunshot wound to the chest, officials said.

She was taken to a Boston hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The suspect, whose name was not released, was taken into custody.
