A 17-year-old boy who killed two IT professionals while driving his Porsche on May 19 admitted to Pune police that he was heavily drunk at the time of the incident and could not remember the incident. During an hour-long interrogation, he claimed that he could not remember due to intoxication. His mother, Shivani Agarwal, was arrested for allegedly switching her blood sample with his. His father, Vishal Agarwal, is also in custody for tampering with evidence. Police have arrested the boy’s grandfather for pressurizing the driver to take the blame.
