23-year-old Georgia man killed in motorcycle crash in Cleburne County

CLEBURNE COUNTY – According to Senior Trooper Vu Quang of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a Temple, Georgia man was killed in a one-car crash that occurred on Saturday, June 1, at approximately 3:20 p.m.

“Trenton A. Self, 23, was seriously injured when his motorcycle, a 2024 Kawasaki EX500, left the road and struck a railing,” Quang said. “Self was transported to Regional Medical Center in Anniston, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.”

The accident occurred on Alabama 281 near the Eight Mile Marker, 10 miles south of Oxford, in Cleburne County.

No further information is available as officers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue their investigation.
