Warm and humid conditions prevail, with an active pattern ahead

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Clouds and a few showers started this first weekend of June in western Wisconsin, while temperatures were mostly seasonable at just above 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Today, however, brings positive changes as a warm front slowly moves in from the southwest. While there will still be clouds, there will be more sunny spells with mostly dry weather as rain and storm chances hold off until this evening. You’ll feel a light breeze from the south-southeast through this afternoon, and a warmer day is in store as temperatures rise to just above 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity will be somewhat noticeable as dew points remain above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. All in all, the weather should be great for any outdoor activities!

Summery weather will continue into early this week as another warm front arrives from the southwest with a sustained southerly flow. Not only will highs remain at 27 degrees, but humidity will also rise, with dewpoints likely to be between 18 and 21 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms are also possible on both days, and there are signs of a potential risk of severe weather on Tuesday if all factors come together.
