We’re off to another foggy start this morning with a chance of isolated scattered showers. We start the morning in the upper 70s and by 1 p.m. it will be “like” 100 thanks to the humidity.

11:00 :

Followed by isolated showers near Liberty, Winnie and just south of Katy.

12:00 p.m.:

Followed by heavier rain with potential for heavier rain near Katy, Liberty and Winnie.

4 p.m. and 5 p.m.:

We are monitoring the risk of more severe storms developing in Houston and areas east of downtown.

6:00 p.m.:

Storms break up in the downtown area, but the risk of showers begins to develop near Liberty, Katy and between Sugar Land and Houston.

Serious risk: 1 in 5

A few of these storms could become strong or violent, with the main threat being strong winds and heavy downpours.
