LMPD investigates double shooting near Cane Run Road

The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating a double shooting off Cane Run Road. According to LMPD, it happened just after 9:30 p.m. in the 4800 W Overbrook Drive block. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two men who had been shot. Both were taken to UofL Hospital. According to police, one of the victims has life-threatening injuries. LMPD’s Homicide Unit is taking over the lead of the investigation because one of the men suffered life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made. According to LMPD, it happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of W Overbrook Drive

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men shot dead.

Both were taken to UofL Hospital.

According to police, one of the victims suffered serious injuries.

The other victim is being treated for a gunshot wound to the hand.

Due to the serious injuries sustained by one of the men, the LMPD Homicide Unit is taking over the investigation.

No arrests were made.
