Shots fired at King County fire station, officials investigate

A fire station in King County was hit by bullets Friday night.

King County Sheriff’s officials said they were called to King County Fire District No. 45 around 10 p.m. Friday night.

The fire station is located on NE Cherry Valley Road, in an unincorporated area east of Duvall.

An official told KOMO News on Saturday that firefighters reported they had “discovered damage to their building consistent with multiple shots fired sometime earlier in the evening.”

“The shots probably came from the street in front of the station,” the officer added.

Investigators collected evidence at the scene and no injuries were reported.

While the investigation continues, the Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for additional information regarding this crime.
