South Kashmir wildlife officer attacked by bear and hospitalised

SRINAGAR: A wildlife officer was injured in a bear attack in Parigam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam on Sunday.

An official said that Bashir Ahmad Bhat, son of Gh Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Devsar, was attacked by a bear in Parigam.

He said Bhat sustained injuries and was taken to hospital. Further details are awaited. (KS)
