RHONJ star Caroline Manzo accuses co-star Brandi Glanville of sexually harassing her

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo has filed a lawsuit against her co-star Brandi Glanville, accusing her of sexual abuse.

In a signed affidavit in connection with her lawsuit against Bravo in January 2024, the Real Housewives of New Jersey The 62-year-old alumnus claimed that Glanville, 51, “forcibly groped my vagina” during her time on the spin-off show, while Bravo producers remained complacent and filmed the alleged assault.

“As Glanville was sexually assaulting me on the couch, she was rubbing her vagina on me,” Manzo claimed in the affidavit. “The producers simply watched and continued filming. They saw that I was in distress and continued filming anyway.” The reality star claimed that producers “did not separate Glanville from me” but “continued to feed her alcohol” and “allowed” her to follow her into the bathroom, where she was allegedly assaulted a second time.

“As I attempted to escape from the bathroom, Glanville threw me against the bathroom door, striking my head, and locked me in the bathroom where she fondled my vagina against my will,” she alleged in the document, claiming producers “saw me attempting to escape but did not assist.”

“My understanding is that one of the producers tried to open the door to get in because he knew I was being sexually assaulted,” she claimed. “The producers obviously saw me trying to escape from the bathroom, and yet they allowed Glanville to slam my head against the door, lock me in the bathroom and harass me.”

Manzo stated in the affidavit that she believed Glanville had “maliciously sexually abused me for her own sexual gratification” by “forcibly kissing me, rubbing her vagina against me, and then (stroking) my vagina against my will.”

The affidavit also states that Caroline asked not to comment on the alleged incident in her on-camera interviews for the show because she was “visibly suffering from anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of Glanville’s sexual assault.”

However, Caroline now claimed that the production team had instructed her to “relive the sexual assault” in order to “add more ‘drama’ to the interview for their own ratings and profit.”

Manzo reiterated that the incident caused her “anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.”

Glanville responded to Manzo’s lawsuit by calling her allegations “absurd.”

“Sadly, Brandi has had to wake up to yet another lawsuit containing defamatory, false allegations against her,” a spokesperson for Glanville told Page Six at the time.

“Brandi followed producers’ instructions during filming and no sexual assault occurred. She is innocent of these absurd allegations that have taken a toll on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed or Bravo.

“This painful storytelling seems to have no end and has to stop. She wants to move on and get her life back.”
