Shocking video of Raveena Tandon’s attack by a mob goes viral

There are numerous reports that Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and her driver were attacked by a mob on Carter Road in Bandra, Mumbai on Saturday night. The mob claimed that the driver hit and injured three people with his vehicle.

As the matter escalated, Raveena reportedly got out to speak to the crowd. However, she was allegedly manhandled by the mob. A clip of the incident has since gone viral on social media platforms. In it, the actress can be seen saying, “Please don’t hit me.”

The clip was first shared by freelance reporter Mohsin Shaikh, a relative of the alleged victim. He said in the video that they were near the actress’s house when the driver hit his mother with a car and when questioned, he started attacking her.

Shaikh also claimed that they were at Khar police station for four hours but the case was not brought to trial.

Sources close to the actress told ETimes, “Raveena was alone at home with her kids when the incident happened and she only came to save her driver who was being manhandled by the other party. The other party actually started filming and if you look at the video footage, the actress is only trying to calm them down but instead they started abusing her and even claimed that the actress was drunk, which was completely false.”

Shaikh’s claims were also refuted by DCP Raj Tilak Roshan, who told the publication that the two parties had come to the police station but had not filed a complaint and that no head injuries had been reported.
