“For me it’s really no big deal”

Former contestant Alexa Caves speaks openly about her sexuality after her exit from The bachelor.

Caves, who went home after failing to receive a rose from Peter Weber in week three, shared on Instagram that she has been inundated with questions about her sexuality since the season premiere.

“It’s crazy how many people ask me about my sexuality in my DMs,” wrote the 27-year-old. “LOL, I’ve been hearing that since the first episode. It’s by far the question I get asked the most.”

“I’m flexible,” she revealed. “I’ve been with women and I’ve been with men. I’m open-minded. It’s really not a big deal for me. People in my life know that about me. But I thought I’d share that because some people are curious and I’m not ashamed of who I am.”

“I just do my thing,” added the Chicago native.

The beautician was eliminated in the third week of the show along with fellow contestants Jasmine Nguyen, Alayah Benavidez and Sarah Coffin – Benavidez returned the following week.

On Tuesday, PEOPLE shared an exclusive sneak peek of two episodes set to air next week. The teaser shows Weber facing the consequences of his decision to welcome back Benavidez after she was eliminated amid suggestions from other contestants that she was “fake.”

“How on earth can I fix this?” he asks himself.

The clip also offers a look at Weber’s infamous forehead injury.

Speaking to PEOPLE in December, Peter, 28, opened up about what really happened, saying it was “just a freak accident” and he hit his head on the roof of a golf cart.

“I reacted, lowered my head and raised my hand, but I had a glass in my hand,” he explained. “(The glass) shattered and cut my forehead.”

The production immediately took care of the boy’s medical care and the show was able to continue without delays.

“I had a great plastic surgeon,” he said. “Thank God he was open long enough to stitch me up. He did a really good job. And now I have a beautiful battle scar. It’s a memory that will always remind me of this journey!”
