2 dead in car crash in Chesterfield

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A man and woman were killed in a two-car crash in Chesterfield Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred on South Woods Mill Road between Conway and Ladue streets around 4:10 p.m. Police Sgt. of Chesterfield Robert Powell said a man and a woman died in separate cars. He did not say whether there were any other injuries.

Police closed the road between Conway and Ladue during the investigation. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.

It was not immediately clear what led to the crash.
