‘Please don’t hit me’: Raveena Tandon attacked in Mumbai after being accused of reckless driving and assaulting three women

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has been accused of abusing and assaulting three people in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra in the late hours of Saturday morning. A video of the actress being surrounded and assaulted by locals has gone viral on the internet.

According to initial information, Raveena’s driver is accused of reckless driving and hitting three people on Carter Road near Rizvi College. When she was confronted, the actress allegedly got out of her car in a drunken state and verbally abused and assaulted them.

In the video, which has now gone viral, the victims and local residents can be seen surrounding Raveena and calling the police. “You have to spend the night in jail. My nose is bleeding,” one of the victims can be heard saying.

Raveena asked people not to record videos. When the locals attacked her, she can be heard in the video saying, “Don’t push me. Please don’t hit me.”

Later, a man who identified himself as Mohammed, a resident of Bandra, was seen on video narrating the entire ordeal. He stated that his mother, sister and niece were passing by Rizvi College when Raveena’s driver ran over his mother.

“When they confronted him, the driver attacked my niece and even my mother. Later, Raveena also got out of the car in a drunken state and beat my mother so badly that she suffered severe head injuries,” he said.

He claimed that he and the victims waited for four hours at the Khar police station, but their complaint was not registered. “They asked us to settle the matter outside the police station. But why should we settle the score with them? My mother was attacked and I demand justice,” he said.

Raveena has not yet made an official statement regarding the incident.
