Man arrested and police officer injured after altercation near Church’s Chicken

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson police officer suffered minor injuries Saturday, June 1 while responding to a call about a reported threat.

TPD officers with sniffer dogs arrived at Church’s Chicken near 12th Avenue and Valencia Road, where a man was arrested after a brief altercation with officers.

Neither the emergency personnel nor the rescue dogs suffered any major injuries.
