Savannah police said the incident occurred Friday evening at 40th Street and Florence Avenue.

Video above: Warming up after the weekendSavannah Police are investigating a May 31 shooting at the corner of 40th Street and Florence Avenue where an adult male suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.At approximately 8:15 p.m., officers responded to a Shot Spotter report. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a Memorial Health University Center and is currently in stable condition. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020. The investigation is ongoing.

Savannah police are investigating a May 31 shooting at 40th Street and Florence Avenue, in which an adult man suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

At around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to a report from the shot spotter. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to Memorial Health University Center and is currently in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020. The investigation is ongoing.
