Crew member of “The Flash” injured after accident on set in Scotland

A crew member was involved in an accident on the set of Warner Bros.’ upcoming superhero film “The Flash” in Scotland.

The crew member received immediate medical attention but was not seriously injured.

“An accident occurred during the filming of ‘The Flash’. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The crew member involved received immediate medical attention as per protocol,” said a spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures. diversity in a statement. “We take the wellbeing of all our employees seriously and have implemented strict health and safety procedures on all productions.”

“The Flash” was filmed in Glasgow. According to local newspaper Glasgow Live, the injured crew member was a cameraman who collided with Batman’s motorcycle, the Batcycle.

In the film, Ezra Miller plays Barry Allen, aka Flash, the super-powered Scarlet Speedster who made his debut in a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He starred in the 2017 DC superhero team-up film Justice League alongside Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). Through HBO Max, original director Zack Snyder released his cut of Justice League last March, giving fans a new, longer look at his original vision of the iconic heroes.

In The Flash, the hero’s first standalone live-action film, Barry travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, inadvertently causing disruptions in his own timeline. Case in point, the film features two versions of Batman. Affleck will reprise his role as the current DC Universe’s Batman, and Michael Keaton, who donned the cowl in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns, is also back as an older Batman from an alternate timeline.

The cast also includes Sasha Calle as Supergirl, who has powers similar to Superman; Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Barry’s lover; Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Barry’s mother who was murdered when he was young; and Ron Livingston, who plays Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Barry’s father who was blamed for Nora’s death.

It director Andy Muschietti is directing, and Christina Hodson, who wrote Bumblebee, wrote the screenplay. The Flash will be released in theaters on November 4, 2022.
