Road traffic incident leads to fatal shooting and injured child

A 33-year-old man was murdered and a 12-year-old child was injured after a shooting in southeast Dallas stemming from an alleged road rage incident, according to a report from Fox 4 KDFW:

“Six people, including two minors, have now been charged with murder.

“Police said the victims were involved in a rear-end collision on May 19. They said the suspects then cut them off, trapped them and then shot at the truck.

“The fatal shooting occurred in broad daylight in the middle of the street, right in front of a house where a baby shower was taking place.

“Investigators used surveillance videos from neighbors to identify the suspects.

“Crime scene cordoned off with crime tape near CF Hawn Freeway and Elam Road marks the spot where police say a group of baby shower attendees opened fire on a passing vehicle, killing 33-year-old Jose Granados-Cerritos and injuring a 12-year-old.

“A short clip of a neighbor’s surveillance video shows the moments before the shooting.”
