Golden Alert for Jeff R. Smith in Knox County, Kentucky

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office announced a Golden Alert for a missing man Tuesday.

Authorities said 43-year-old Jeff R. Smith was last seen walking on US 25 East in Heidrick on Thursday.

MISSING IN KENTUCKY

He is described as weighing 150 pounds and standing 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing camouflage clothing and a camouflage backpack.

The sheriff’s office said he may be suffering from a mental disorder and asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call authorities.
