hot for the rest of the weekend with isolated thunderstorms possible

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – TONIGHT: A few isolated showers or thunderstorms could move into Louisiana from the south this evening. In addition to locally heavy downpours and lightning, a storm with gusts cannot be ruled out. Otherwise, temperatures will remain warm overnight, with lows falling to almost 21 degrees.

SUNDAY: There may also be isolated rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday from morning to evening. The rain will probably only be localized, so it will not rain everywhere tomorrow. It will also be a hot day with temperatures between 30 and 35 degrees under predominantly sunny skies.

EXTENDED FORECAST: This summery weather pattern will continue into next week, with the possibility of isolated showers and highs in the 32s. A cold front is expected to move in from the north towards the end of the week. This system could also bring showers and thunderstorms.
