Buffalo Bills Social Media Roundup: Rescue of Cat Named After Tyler Bass

Another week, another edition of “Where the Buffalo Bills roam.” For Bills Mafia, this is your place to stay up to date on everything that Buffalo Bills players, staff, and even the community have been involved in over the past week. Social media helps us stay connected to our team and this is where you can get the scoop all in one place.

This week many current and former players got involved in community work, such as Josh Allen and Eric Wood playing golf for Oishei Children’s Hospital, Ray Davis partnering with Fostering Greatness (which aims to help children in local foster care) and Mack Hollins visits the Massachusetts Avenue Project to celebrate a $50,000 commitment from the Bills Foundation.

Other highlights from the past week include Matt Milano returning and working on the sidelines during OTAs, Keon Coleman training with someone special, Ed Oliver spotted on his horse, Josh Allen appearing in a commercial Gatorade and more!

Bills members spend time in the community

Tyler Bass received a ton of negative attention and abuse following his missed field goal in the final minutes of the AFC Divisional Game last season. As Bills Mafia often does, the fan base began rallying around the Buffalo kicker and ended up donating $400,000 to the Ten Lives Club, a local cat rescue and adoption center. Thanks to community support, the new Ten Lives Club shelter will be named the Tyler Bass Adoption Center in his honor.

Wide receiver Mack Hollins took a trip with the Bills Foundation to the Massachusetts Avenue Project, a nonprofit urban farm that teaches youth about farming, cooking and nutrition. They also presented the farm with a $50,000 grant.

Rookie running back Ray Davis recently partnered with Fostering Greatness, Inc., helping to collect clothing and suitcases for foster children in Western New York. This cause is close to his heart, as Davis himself was a foster child in San Francisco, California.

Josh Allen, some of his family members and former Bills center Eric Wood recently teamed up to play golf to benefit John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. Allen played before and after the OTAs in the rain for 117 holes!

Star defensive end Gregory Rousseau announced his first annual youth football camp at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Matt Milano works on the sidelines during OTAs

It may not be much, but linebacker Matt Milano, who suffered a season-ending leg injury last year, was seen doing some stretches and going for a jog on the sidelines during OTAs. Bills fans are eagerly awaiting his return.

Ed Oliver rides his horse

Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete offseason if someone didn’t see Ed Oliver riding around on his horse.
