Heavy Rain Warning: Atmospheric River Brings Unusual Showers to Snoqualmie Valley

Welcome to Juniuary.

Starting Sunday, an atmospheric river unusual for this month will be heading straight towards us. At least it will be a warm front and not cold rain.

This system could bring 3 inches of rain starting Sunday. This three-day event could bring us more rain in those days than we average for all of June.

There is also a flood warning below the falls from Sunday to Wednesday. Minor flooding is expected.

There is a silver lining to this. Starting Thursday and for a few days, our highs could drop below 27 degrees. We just need to get through all the rain that’s coming our way.
