Philadelphia police seek suspects in Powelton double shooting

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are searching for three people they believe are responsible for a double shooting in Philadelphia’s Powelton neighborhood.

It happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Preston Street.

Investigators told Action News they found a 26-year-old man shot in the foot and a woman shot in the head.

The man was taken to hospital where his condition is stable. The woman is currently in critical condition.

No arrests were made and no weapons were seized.

This is an ongoing investigation by the Shooting Investigation Group.
