Driver injured after car crashes into new home in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A car has crashed into a home in the Midtown Reserve neighborhood of College Station between Rock Prairie Road and Midtown Drive.

The incident occurred on Double Moutain Road near Toledo Bend Drive just before 7 p.m.

According to College Station police, the driver suffered a medical issue and left the roadway.

The car crashed into an unoccupied new building.

The driver suffered a laceration to his head as a result of the accident and was taken to hospital for examination.

No other injuries were reported.
