Cape Cod incident leads to airlift and arrest – NBC Boston

One person has been arrested following an incident Tuesday in Cape Cod that required someone to be airlifted to a hospital.

There were limited details, but police in Barnstable, Massachusetts, said in a Facebook post that they had closed a portion of Old Stage Road in Centerville while an investigation was ongoing.

Video from the scene showed a person being taken on a stretcher to a medical helicopter.

According to police, a 24-year-old suspect was in custody. The person’s identity and the allegations against him were not disclosed.

NBC10 Boston has reached out to Barnstable police but has not yet heard back.
