One dead in ATV accident | WDHN

DOTHAN, Alabama (WDHN) – A Troy man died Friday afternoon after an SUV crash near Luverne.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 41-year-old Elvis Bowles was killed when the 2022 CFORCE ATV he was driving left the road and struck an embankment, throwing him off.

Bowles was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred on Friday, May 31, shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Athens Church Road near Golden Road, about four miles east of Luverne.

The accident is currently being investigated by the ALEA Highway Patrol Division.
