The Houston Roughnecks take on the Memphis Showboats in the season finale

The game: Houston Roughnecks (1-8) vs. Memphis Showboats (1-8)
When or: 6 p.m. Sunday; Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, Memphis
How to watch/listen: FOX, FOX Sports on SiriusXM

This week, UFL Vice President of Football Operations Daryl Johnston announced that the winner of this season’s final will earn the No. 1 selection in the 2025 United Football League Draft, picking at the same position during subsequent rounds.

This adds more incentive to a game with minimal impact on the standings, although it’s still important for players who earn a game day salary and are looking to add to their list of highlights in hopes of landing an opportunity in the NFL.

Dekaney graduate D’Juan Hines was one of the most active tackles in the United States Football League for two seasons with the New Jersey Generals. He ranked sixth with 78 tackles in 2022, adding six tackles for loss and one sack. He finished fifth last year with 75 tackles.

Hines, an all-conference linebacker at the University of Houston, signed with the Roughnecks on May 15 and has made six tackles in two games since. He added his first professional interception of the spring last week against Michigan.
