THREE ACCIDENTS REPORTED IN INDIANA COUNTY ON FRIDAY

Several accidents were reported to Indiana County’s 911 emergency number on Friday.

The first incident occurred at 8:40 a.m. on Route 954 in Washington Township when Plumville firefighters, ambulance and state police were called to a motorcycle accident.

The second accident of the day occurred at 1:31 p.m. on Route 217 North in Burrell Township. Indiana County 911 reports that Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments, Citizens’ Ambulance and state police responded to a single-vehicle accident in the area.

The third incident occurred at 2:28 p.m. and the Indiana Fire and Rescue Department was called to an accident on Wayne Avenue in White Township. The Citizen and State Police were also alerted.

Details of the crashes were not released.

Indiana firefighters were also called at 10:31 a.m. for an automatic fire alarm on East Pike and at 11:38 a.m. for downed utility lines on North 5.th Street and a carbon monoxide alarm on North 10th Street at 1:27 p.m.
