Pune police arrest underage mother

Pune police have arrested the mother of the teenager in the Porsche car crash case after confirming that his blood samples were replaced with those of his mother, the city police chief said on Saturday.

Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said the investigation into the accident revealed that the teenager’s blood samples had been replaced with those of his mother.

Two days ago, the police informed a district court that the teenager’s blood samples had been swapped with those of a woman.

In the early hours of May 19, two IT professionals were killed in Kalyani Nagar in Pune when a Porsche, allegedly driven by the drunk minor, crashed into their two-wheeler.

While the 17-year-old minor was placed in an observation home, his father, real estate agent Vishal Agarwal, and grandfather Surendra Agarwal were arrested for kidnapping the family driver and pressuring him to take the blame.
