Fatal accident in Chesterfield County | wcnc.com

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC — One person was killed in an accident in Chesterfield County Friday evening.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a person was driving a 1988 Mercury sedan south on Airport Road near Eddie Horton Road when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times at 6:27 p.m.

The driver was killed in the accident south of Pageland; his identity has not yet been established.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
