Dorchester Dist. 2 calls for investigation into breach of trust

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) – An internal investigation prompted Dorchester District 2 officials to contact the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

District spokeswoman Jennifer Passmore said during an internal review, “The district has identified a possible breach of trust.” The district assigned investigators from the sheriff’s office to look into the case.

She did not provide further details but thanked the district’s law enforcement partners for their “quick response and assistance.”

“We will continue to work with them throughout the ongoing investigation,” she said.
